Furniture Caning

Northrop’s Furniture Shop offers sheet cane replacement for a variety of antique and mid century chairs, rockers and stools. We also weave rush, seagrass and binder cane.

One of our chair repair projects include bobbin chairs with blown out seagrass rush weave. We deep cleaned the furniture frames, oil treated the wood and weaved natural sea grass rush. (photo below)

Please note we don’t weave by the strand/hole.
