Class Information
How do I sign Up
Use the contact form under Classes. It lets you send us a pic. OR email furnitureshopaustin@gmail.com with clear photos of the item and an idea of what you want to accomplish. Include inspiration photos if possible.
What If I Run Out Of Time?
If you need more time to finish but don’t need more instruction or another four hour class we will offer shop use hours paid by the hour. These are workshop hours with little supervision or assistance other than minor help from staff. These are billed at $25/per hour. If you’d like to book personal, one on one instruction we have it available at $75/hour.
How Many Classes?
Depends on the item. We will take a look and help you figure out a game plan. Most small items like a chair or painting a stool would take at minimum one session.
Do We Drink Wine and Paint?
Nope. This is a fully functional day to day shop. Its gritty, dirty, sweaty at times (we have HVAC) and not a wine night. You will leave with skills you can use in the future and the materials/work can be dangerous.
Food, Drinks Etc.
We will have iced tea, coffee in am sessions, light snacks. Please bring a lunch or plan to eat in the area if you’ve signed up for both sessions in one day. Grab a beer after your hard work across the street from us at Giddy Up’s Saloon!
What Supplies do I Need
Once we’ve approved the item, we will make a supply list and game plan to make the most of your time. All stains, paints, finishes, chemicals, tools and ppe provided by the shop.
You’ll need close-toed shoes, clothing that you can ruin and a willingness to get dirty.
Refund Policy
You can cancel up to 72 hours before class for a 90% refund, 10% admin fee to cover our time spent advancing your job.
Where you at
We are located at 11817 Menchaca Road 78748 in a two bay garage shop connected to GARCIA PRECISION AUTO. We have ample parking around our building on the weekends.
